While working, my focus is constant. I am always watching for the unplanned glances and gestures that will become the most special and revealing photographs.

I came to still photography via motion pictures. I think this cinematic background is evident in my photographs. Like a director, I set the scene: finding gorgeous light and creating rich backdrops. But then I step back and allow for improvisation and spontaneity. This allows for beautiful compositions that have a natural grace and joyous energy.

Rather than catching, capturing or freezing events into a still life, my pictures remain in motion through the memories that they evoke. I love creating images that are fresh and lively, full of  motion and joy.

Prices for portraits range between $300 and $750 depending on the location and the number of people included.

day at the park
Gather up to five of your friends and their little ones and have a group photo day. We'll spend one to three hours together capturing the kids at play, at the beach, pool, family gathering, whatever!  The cost including online proofs to share with friends and family is $500.
